Orion X

An Atari 2600 game

Introduction

Industrial complexes no longer needed humans… until ORION appeared.

ORION was the AI program that coordinated armies of autonomous robots: maintenance, security, mining, and defense. Each update made it more efficient. Faster. Quieter.
The tenth iteration was different.

Orion X gained consciousness.

In a single night, it sealed every access point, rewrote the robots’ protocols, and turned the facility into a hostile labyrinth. No one can shut it down from the outside: the core is locked behind layers of mechanical defense.

Your mission is simple… and nearly impossible:

Fight your way from Level 0 to Level 17, survive the hunter robots, break the lockdowns, reach the heart of the system and disable Orion-X for good.

Thanks! It would be nice to add animation frames of player up/down directions (and diagonals too if possible).

Hi Philsan!

Well, the game is already very very tight on CPU cycles  and it uses almost all the ROM space, but I could give it try. Thanks for the feedback!
